The Bylaws Review Task Force was established in 2006 to perform a complete review of the bylaws and propose revisions for approval by the appropriate NACAC governing bodies.
Bylaws Review Task Force Goals
- Develop clear and understandable language and eliminate ambiguities
- Build basic framework that does not require frequent amendments
- Develop companion policy document describing procedures that can be changed by the Board of Directors allowing for nimbleness and flexibility.
The Bylaws Review Task Force will present a proposed revision of the bylaws for approval at the Assembly and General Membership meetings at the NACAC National Conference in Seattle, Washington, September, 2008. All members will receive a draft of the proposed revision well in advance of the meetings.
