Reasons to Give to Imagine

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Imagine Fund.  As you look to make a final decision about giving to the fund, we ask that you consider the many reasons and benefits of giving, as well as the additional ways you can continue to assist NACAC in our efforts to further increase NACAC member participation.

Reasons to Give

  • To allow NACAC to continue to support the Presidents’ Council Grants – ultimately opening doors for underserved counselors and students by giving them access to information allowing them to perform their jobs more effectively.

  • To demonstrate your support for NACAC’s mission -- to support and advance the work of college admission counseling professionals as they help students realize their full educational potential, with particular emphasis on the transition from secondary schools to higher education and with attention to access and equity for all students.

  • To demonstrate belief in your profession.

  • To join your colleagues that give to Imagine in order to increase NACAC member participation to best demonstrate to our potential partners that we believe in our mission as illustrated by giving ourselves.

  • Because every dollar makes a difference and no contribution is too small as we work to expand our outreach efforts.

Benefits of Giving

  • Good feeling knowing you have made a difference in the lives of counselors who receive the Presidents’ Council Grants and their students.

  • Opportunity to demonstrate leadership and involvement in your profession through leading by example.

  • Recognition among peers on the 2008 Donor Honor Roll on NACAC’s Web site.

  • Recognition in the National Conference Program Book.

  • Invitation to and recognition at the Leadership and Donors Reception (for $100+ contributions received by September 12, 2008) held during NACAC’s National Conference.
