Preconference Seminars and Workshops

Interested in intensive information and discussion events that focus on the issues most relevant to your workplace and student population? How about participating in a series of structured lessons geared towards a specific group of professionals?  Top

If so, consider registering for preconference seminars or workshops offered before the start of the National Conference. A variety of three-hour preconference seminars will be offered on Wednesday morning, Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Preconference workshops are offered as full-day or two-day courses.

Registration and a separate fee of $75 per preconference seminar is required for preconference events.  Register now.

Enrollment is limited for all preconference events and they often sell out, so register early!

NACAC’s Strategic Priorities include building an inclusive community and building professional content.  This workshop addresses both of these initiatives.  Participants will be introduced to NACAC’s new “Step-by-Step To College” workshop curriculum for underserved students in grades 7-12.  In addition, members of the NACAC Human Relations Committee will review recent revisions of the Families, Counselors and Communities Together materials.  Those attending will leave with NACAC’s comprehensive tools for meeting the needs of first-generation students and their families.
